A Private Hotel

Situated next to Montrose Blvd and right before the US 59 highway, the site is between the intersection of Midtown and the Museum district. This hotel proposal started with an analysis of the population who will inhabit it: a family of three to four on vacation or colleagues on a business trip. I believe that privacy within the hotel room would benefit both populations, so I separated the two beds with a bathroom and a living. The slant of the wall generated a variation of space that a rectilinear room cannot achieve. When aggregating the units, I maintained a single circulation hallway with interwoven facades.
